Is the Madison Long Jacket waterproof?
This jacket will be okay for light rain, however it is not waterproof—and that is by design! We prioritized comfort over waterproofing. Waterproof fabrics tend to be stiff, "crinkly," and noisy—not something you want to wear for a long flight or a bumpy car ride. Instead, we use a buttery-soft, high-stretch fabric that feels ultra-soft but looks polished. It’s designed to keep you comfortable on a 7-hour flight from New York to London, rather than dry in a heavy downpour.

What is your return policy?
We all hate paying for return shipping & we want you to love your new clothing, so we’ve made returns completely risk-free. The Madison Long Jacket is a transitional layer, not a winter coat. It's made with 220 GSM unlined nylon, so it's perfect for 50–70°F weather — think cool mornings, breezy evenings, or a flight where the AC is blasting. On cooler days, just layer a sweater underneath and you're set. It won't replace your heavy puffer in a snowstorm, but if you want a polished, lightweight layer that keeps the chill off without the bulk, the Madison is exactly that.

Does the hood add bulk?
Not at all — and that's because we engineered it not to. The hood uses a 5-snap hidden attachment system with double-layer construction, so it sits flat and streamlined when you're wearing it. When you don't need it, it detaches cleanly — no awkward lump at the collar, no zipper bunching. If you've been burned by bulky, floppy detachable hoods on other jackets, this one was designed with you in mind.

I love the jacket. I really do, it fits on my body so nice. It is soft material. That feels really good on. There’s 3 pockets to put things in. I can easily put my cell phone on the inside pocket then there’s two outside pockets. The hood can snap off and on depending on what you want. the jacket not bulky at all, but it gives you enough warmth for a relatively cold day. You can dress up with it or down with it you can wear jeans or dress. It’s a beautiful jacket. I was definitely impressed.

The jacket is a good weight and the XL fits well (I usually get a L in most jackets, sizing up worked well). I like the longer length.

The softest and most comfy jacket I have EVER owned! I am obsessed. It is so unbelievably comfortable. This jacket can be dressed up or down. The hood is detachable and there is a 2 way zipper. First time using this brand and I am super impressed. The quality is superb. I’ll be checking out more items soon! I am 5’9 140lbs and got a size medium for reference.

I am simply over the moon! It's fabulous! I unpacked it at 11 AM, tried it on, and wore it to a luncheon meeting at noon. The fit is perfect (thanks to model Becky) - the long cuffs make it possible for me to fold them up and still look stylish, not like I'm wearing something that's too big for my small frame. The quality of fabric and construction are first rate, and I particularly appreciate the two-way zipper and inside zip pocket. And finally, the color, Sea Blend Blue, goes with everything! I have several trips planned for the fall, and it will accompany me on each one. My only regret is that I waited so long to purchase it. Six stars!

I thought this would give me a lot more room than the 2X that I ordered, but it’s not that much bigger. I usually take an extra large, so the sizes run very small. But I love the style of the jacket the material especially it’s very comfortable on and floaty when the zipper is unzipped.

The jacket fits great. I already knew I wanted a Medium from having the vest and needing to size up after trying a Small. The Small would have fit but not as loosely as I wanted. I'll have enough room to add a sweater if I need it. I really like the style and soft fabric. I had forgotten that there is also a hood that snaps on. Extra points!
