Is it waterproof? No — and that's on purpose.
Waterproof fabrics are stiff, crinkly and noisy. That's not what you want on a seven-hour flight or over dinner.
So we chose a buttery-soft fabric that looks polished and feels like nothing. It handles light rain comfortably. It is not built for a downpour, and we'd rather tell you that here than have you find out in Dublin.

In light rain, yes, comfortably. In a real downpour, no — and we'd rather say so. We chose a soft, quiet fabric over a stiff waterproof one because you're going to be wearing it for hours at a time.
How warm is the jacket?
It's built for cool weather rather than deep winter — terminals, cabins, spring and autumn days in Europe. Layer a sweater underneath and it handles cold mornings comfortably.
Do I wear the jacket and vest together?
Most women don't. They're two separate pieces for two parts of your trip: the jacket for travel days and weather, the vest for everything in between. That's the whole reason we bundled them.
What if I order the wrong size?
